I am passionate that all children should have the best Mathematics education possible, and firmly believe that with excellent teaching it is a subject where all children can and should succeed – even if they have their own doubts!

I have worked as a Head of Mathematics in one school, Director of Maths across multiple schools, Assistant Principal – Curriculum and Operations, and briefly as Deputy Headteacher – Data and Standards. After missing the joys and impact of being in the classroom I have taken a detour and returned to the classroom and Middle Leadership and am loving it!

Throughout my roles I unashamedly put the best interests of the children we serve first! Sometimes this has made me unpopular,  but it has led to significant improvements in the schools that I have had the privilege to work at.
